Oswego Speedway? It definitely appears paved and those look to be Modifies.

My local short track isn’t having a season this year ): And My friend’s compact class racecar is dead too so we can’t even fix it up for another track. I’m sad.

Damn, you’re good! Yeah it’s Oswego Speedway. Aside from the normal mods they had the ROC cars there,

Yes it does a lot, It’s a place I spent a lot of my last few summers at, mostly in the pits working on and setting up the car. It ended up killing the motor after one too many collisions with the wall broke a rod. Now with no car, and no track, it feels like it just won’t be the same.

Wow, racing is definitely something that’s hard to get out of you.

I mean, it was expensive (even though it wasn’t my car. I still spent a ton of money just going to the pits all day as it was) and we weren’t all that good at it, but last year we were finally competing. Going from getting lapped big time our first couple years, to having a heat winning car at the end, it was a lot of fun. Keep in mind: This was a FOUR DOOR LUMINA in a compact class full of Cavy’s and Integras. But all that work wasn’t kind to the car. After a series of breaking CV shafts week in and out due to the extreme alignment on the car, it became the death of it.
Side note: If you kind of want the story behind it all, I just remembered I made this post a month or so ago.

Insider knowledge, my friend wanted to go (mentioned opening night and all) and I seemed to remember you were in CNY someplace. Never been, what did you think?

I enjoyed it. I’ve been a few times and it’s always good fun. It’s pretty cheap I think. It’s definitely worth it, some good action here. I do say, if you’re gonna be under the covered area do bring ear plugs, it gets insanely loud under there.
